<< Return INTEGRATED ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGIES INITIATES ROLL-OUT PROGRAM WITH BENCHMARK PERFORMANCE GROUPLITTLE RIVER, SC, January 23, 2008 - - - Integrated Environmental Technologies, Ltd. (OTCBB: “IEVM”) announced today that IEVM’s shareholder and oil and gas industry partner, Benchmark Performance Group, Inc., is executing the roll out of its new ExcelyteTM product through a national media campaign. Under its Exclusive License and Distribution Agreement with Benchmark’s subsidiary, Benchmark Energy Products, LLC (“BEP”), finalized in mid-summer of 2007, IEVM is gearing up to deliver all of the EcaFlo® devices BEP will need to supply its customers with ExcelyteTM, the totally “green” natural biocide that BEP produces with IEVM’s EcaFlo® equipment. “There are millions of gallons of water pumped into petroleum-bearing formations every day in the process known as ‘hydraulic fracturing’. Billion of gallons of ‘produced water’ also come to the surface in the natural course of oil and gas production. Utilizing IEVM’s EcaFlo® equipment to produce ExcelyteTM, BEP will be able to provide a better, non-hazardous, treatment for both the ‘makeup water’ used in fracturing fluids and the produced water,” said Wayne Kinsey, Benchmark’s President. Benchmark Energy Products is a manufacturer and supplier of specialty chemicals, compounds and additives used in the oil and gas pumping services industry. “ExcelyteTM is a much more environmentally-friendly alternative than the products typically used to handle and manage the bacteria and other unwanted microorganisms often present in the water used in fracturing applications,” said Kinsey. “We all want to be good environmental stewards, and ExcelyteTM affords us, and more importantly, our customers, the opportunity to make a significant, positive difference in the way the oil and gas industry has traditionally handled water treatment.” Once the product is fully adopted, it is anticipated that it will take a significant number of EcaFlo® devices to meet the market demand for ExcelyteTM. Demand for EcaFlo® devices will expand as continuing research confirms new ways in which ExcelyteTM can be used in other industries to control bacteria and other unwanted microorganisms without harming the environment. Bill Prince, President and CEO of IEVM, stated, “We chose to team up with a proven leader in the supply of specialty chemicals to the oilfield, and that leader is Benchmark Energy Products. BEP has taken extraordinary care to develop its marketing and delivery plans for the effective introduction of Excelyte™ to its customers. I know that Mr. Kinsey and his company stand behind their catch-phrase, ‘Chemical Services – Chemical Solutions©.’” Prince further stated, “Benchmark is moving this ‘green’ biocide forward into the oil and gas industry with methodical, calculated strategies that will insure its success.” About Benchmark Performance Group: Benchmark is a manufacturer and supplier of, among other things, specialty chemicals, compounds and additives developed for industrial and oilfield applications, including, but not limited to, proprietary cross-linkers, polymers, polymer slurries and other fluid additives used in oil and gas well cementing, stimulation and production fluids. www.benchmark-research.com Forward-Looking Statements: The statements in this press release regarding the sale of EcaFlo® equipment and/or any further agreements with Benchmark Performance Group’s, future opportunities and any other effect, result or aspect of the agreement and any other statements, which are not historical facts, are forward-looking statements.
