<< Return Benchmark Energy Products and Integrated Environmental Technologies, Ltd. Work Together to Promote Benchmark’s Excelyte™ ProdMarch 10, 2008 --- Little River, SC --- Integrated Environmental Technologies, Ltd. (“IEVM” OTC:BB) announced today that I.E.T., Inc. (IEVM’s wholly-owned operating subsidiary) and Benchmark Energy Products (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Benchmark Performance Group, Inc.) recently participated in Western Colorado’s Third Annual Energy Expo event on Friday, February 22, 2008 in Grand Junction, Colorado. Benchmark followed up its recent Excelyte™ product market entry with a booth at the Energy Expo. Benchmark’s top-level executives and operations managers spread the “Think GREEN – Go Benchmark” message while making members of the oil and gas community aware that Benchmark is beginning to distribute its new, environmentally-responsible biocide solution – Excelyte™. Anticipating the need to have significantly increased capacities of Excelyte™ available in Colorado’s environmentally-sensitive Piceance Basin area, as well as in the other oil and gas centers throughout the United States, Benchmark is increasing its inventory of IET EcaFlo® units, which it will place into service with the other EcaFlo® equipment already at its Grand Junction Regional Distribution Center. Benchmark’s nine regional distribution centers will make Excelyte™ available to its oil and gas industry customers by drums, totes, and bulk transports throughout the United States. “The adoption curve has been a little longer than we had hoped, but our ‘green’ ExcelyteTM is a ‘no brainer’ when compared to the many toxic biocides that have been used in the past,” said Benchmark’s COO, Iain Dingwall. “Now that we’ve demonstrated the efficacy of ExcelyteTM for use in treating frac waters, as well as produced waters, and have the equipment and expertise necessary to make it on a consistent basis, our customers appear ready to move away from their old ways of treating those waters,” added Dingwall. “Couple the environmentally-friendly nature of ExcelyteTM (which also makes it a much easier product for our customers and their employees to handle in the field) with the cost savings they can realize by using ExcelyteTM, and the decision to switch would seem an easy one to make,” said Benchmark’s President, E. Wayne Kinsey, III. “But in our industry, it takes time for a new product to gain wide acceptance, particularly when the product is as industry-changing as ExcelyteTM is. It’s a perfect example of the old adage, ‘When something appears to be too good to be true, it usually is’. Except in the case of ExcelyteTM, which is everything that it appears to be and more; an incredibly effective, green, advanced biocide. The real issue has been that ExcelyteTM is truly a paradigm change in green biocidal chemistry, and change like that very, very rarely ever happens. One customer at a time, one location at a time, we’re making that change happen.” To support Benchmark’s anticipated demand for Excelyte™, IET, Inc. continues expansion of its manufacturing facility in Little River, with improvements underway that will result in the Company’s ability to put as many as twenty (20) EcaFlo® C-104’s into service per month. “We have been working closely with the Benchmark team, developing data and EcaFlo® equipment to promote their entry into the oil and gas markets and playing a support role in all issues relative to moving Excelyte™ out in the field. All the while, IET has been making its own preparations to be ready to move equipment into the areas of Benchmark’s customers’ demands. We are just touching the tip of the iceberg here and we are so pleased that the strategic roll-out is being accomplished with great success,” stated IET’s President and CEO, William E. Prince. In other corporate matters, Integrated Environmental Technologies, Ltd. held its annual meeting of shareholders on December 21, 2007, at which time the majority of shareholders voted to move the Company’s state of domicile to Nevada and to stagger the terms of its Directors. The Company has accomplished the change in domicile and is formally a Nevada corporation at this time. Mr. William E. Prince, Chairman, and Mr. E. Wayne Kinsey, III, Vice-Chairman, shall serve as Directors for three years, Mr. David N. Harry and Ms. Marion C. Sofield, Secretary, shall serve as Directors for two years, and Dr. Valgene Dunham shall serve as a Director for one year. The Company’s Annual Report is nearing completion, with the Company having performed its physical inventory and hosted its independent auditors, Weaver and Martin, LLC. IEVM is on target to submit its 2007 10-KSB on or before March 31, 2008.
