INTEGRATED ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGIES, LTD. RECEIVES SIGNIFICANT ORDER OF ECAFLO® EQUIPMENT FOR BENCHMARK PERFORMANCE GROUP,

LITTLE RIVER SC---February 23, 2010---Integrated Environmental Technologies, Ltd. (OTC:BB “IEVM”) announced today that Benchmark Performance Group, Inc. has ordered an additional ten (10) of IET’s EcaFlo® Model C-104 units. Benchmark will deploy the new units at its Regional Distribution Center in the northeastern U.S., in close proximity to its oil and gas service company business in that region. “This marks the full-fledged entry of our EcaFlo® equipment and the use of the highly efficacious micro-biocide solutions it produces into the oil and gas industry in what is planned to be a strategic roll-out throughout the industry,” stated IET’s President and CEO, Bill Prince. Prince further stated, “We have been preparing for this type of large-scale production ramp-up for some time now. We have awarded a contract to upgrade and expand our facility in order to be able to increase our manufacturing capacity dramatically. The entire IET team looks forward to working with Benchmark to increase the demand for EcaFlo® equipment and the ‘green’ biocide it produces, which Benchmark markets as Excelyte®.” Wayne Kinsey, Benchmark’s President and CEO stated, “We’ve been working towards this for some time now. It’s taken a little longer than we expected for our oil and gas service company clients to evaluate Excelyte® and recognize its substantial benefits over the biocides they’ve traditionally used – not the least of which is the fact that it’s 100% ‘green’. Now that they’ve seen just how well Excelyte® works, their demand for it is increasing. The best way for us to meet that demand is to quickly expand our production capacity by increasing the number of EcaFlo® machines we have, and putting those machines close to the areas where the product will be used. If things go as we anticipate, we’ll soon need more machines for our other Regional Distribution Centers.” Added Kinsey, “As regulatory restrictions continue to tighten for the protection of sub-surface waters at oil and gas well fracturing sites – particularly those where they are tapping into the new shale gas formations – we think the use of Excelyte® by the oil and gas pressure pumping services industry will only grow. As those companies are required to replace many of the hazardous biocides they’ve traditionally used, Excelyte® will be the perfect replacement.” “You may have noticed,” Kinsey continued, “that a congressional committee recently launched another investigation of hydraulic fracturing, asking eight oilfield services companies for information on the chemicals they use in hydraulic fracturing and their potential impact on health and the environment. If one of the chemicals they are using is the Excelyte® biocide we make with IET’s EcaFlo® machines, it will go a long way towards allaying some of the environmental fears and concerns that people have about hydraulic fracturing. The process has been employed for years, but the new focus on using it to recover natural gas from shale formations has raised some new concern about the chemicals that are used. As an environmentally conscious company, and past winner of the Texas Governor’s Award for Environmental Excellence, Benchmark has been working for years to expand its ‘green’ chemical technologies and product offerings. Excelyte® is just the most recent addition to that product line.” For information about Integrated Environmental Technologies, Ltd.
