<< Return IET and Benchmark Performance Group, Inc. Announce Agreement with Susquehanna Association for the Blind and Vision ImpairedMarch 30, 2010 - - - Little River, South Carolina - - - Integrated Environmental Technologies, Ltd. (OTC:BB “IEVM”) has announced that Benchmark Performance Group and Susquehanna Association for the Blind and Vision Impaired (SABVI) have executed an Agreement whereby SABVI will manufacture, market and distribute Excelyte® to state agencies and other customers throughout the commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Excelyte® is an EPA-registered, broad-spectrum micro-biocide suitable for use as a hard-surface disinfectant and available in liquid or spray bottle. Proven effective against E. coli, Salmonella and MRSA, Excelyte® has recently been proven through independent laboratory testing to be effective as a hard-surface disinfectant against H1N1 (the swine flu virus). To date, IET’s EcaFlo® Anolyte (trademarked “Excelyte®” by Benchmark) is the only anolyte solution registered by the EPA for use as a hard-surface disinfectant in the United States. Excelyte® is produced by an IET EcaFlo® unit, which is manufactured by IET, Inc. Based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, SABVI is a non-profit organization with a mission to provide employment opportunities for individuals who are blind or vision impaired. SABVI is utilizing an EcaFlo® unit at their facility to manufacture Excelyte®. “We are very happy to be working with IET and Benchmark, and we are fortunate they have chosen SABVI as a partner,” said Dennis Steiner, President and CEO of SABVI. “Not only are we able to increase employment opportunities for people who are blind, but we are providing an environmentally-friendly disinfectant to governmental agencies and other businesses in Pennsylvania.” Wayne Kinsey, President and CEO of Benchmark Performance Group, noted that Benchmark had pursued Pennsylvania State Registration for Excelyte® as an alternative to the more hazardous biocides typically used in oil and gas well applications. “SABVI,” stated Kinsey, “was looking for our one-of-a-kind product at about that same time…something they could make and package safely, and they found Benchmark!” Kinsey explained that, “In addition to the requirement that each biocide be registered with the U.S. EPA, they must also be registered in each state where they are to be used. We knew it would only be a matter of time before we needed to be registered in Pennsylvania, so that we could provide Excelyte® for Benchmark’s oil and gas division.” “We are very pleased that SABVI will be utilizing EcaFlo® equipment to manufacture and sell Excelyte®. SABVI opens up a new and diverse market for Excelyte through its existing customer base in Pennsylvania,” said Bill Prince, President and CEO of IET, Ltd. Prince continued, “Because Excelyte® is so effective and environmentally friendly, we believe the product helps customers achieve their “Going Green” and socially-responsible business initiatives. With Excelyte being manufactured and sold through SABVI, the missions of all businesses and organizations will only be enhanced.” About Integrated Environmental Technologies, Ltd. / I.E.T., Inc.: I.E.T., Inc. is a wholly-owned operating subsidiary of Integrated Environmental Technologies, Ltd.
